Audible Stories

A List of AI Generated Stories

Here is a list of Audible Stories generated on this website using the voices provided in the interface. All of these stories are classified as public domain and you can download them and use them without limitation. If you wish to host them on your own website, a link to this page would be appreciated. This is so that others will know they can create there own Audible Stories for free using this website.

These Audio Streams were generated in multiple batches of less and 100,000 characters which created output of hundreds of wav files once finished. Then the output was joined using a command line program named sox. When converted to a single audio wav file it was converted to MP3 file format. I used the following settings a sample rate of 24,000 Hz and a VBR range between 80kbit-120kbits per second. This will reduce the file size of about 95%.

To use the output of this website you don’t need to convert it to MP3 or any other format at all as the output can just be opened in a playlist in the same order as the file numbers. If you have a fast computer you can just start the encoding process and press play from the interface and as each new segment is generated the player will continue to play newly created segments. Do not exceed 100,000 characters in a single process as the memory will run out and you may loose your encodings.

The Glass Cage

Written in 2026 by David Clews

Chloe, a diligent accountant stifled by the sterile monotony of her corporate "glass cage," exists in a state of numbness until her routine is disrupted by a predatory IT specialist named David, who escalates from inappropriate staring to a terrifying sexual assault in a locked archive room. While David threatens to destroy her career with falsified digital evidence if she speaks out, Chloe finds sanctuary and courage with Leo, a warm-hearted artist who helps her document the assault and construct a timeline to disprove David's threats. Empowered by this support and armed with building security logs that contradict David's alibi, Chloe successfully reports the abuse to HR, resulting in David’s immediate removal and allowing her to reclaim her agency and walk away from the office's oppression with a newfound sense of freedom.
